Welcome to GenNET Online Learning!

GenNET Online Learning provides students with a wide range of teacher-led courses, teacher-facilitated courses, and self-directed classroom tools delivered over the Internet. This program provides enhanced learning opportunities for Michigan high school and middle school students. Barriers such as time, space, equality of opportunity, and lack of resources diminish with this use of telecommunications. Students, parents, educators -- we invite you to explore our website and take advantage of this exciting and dynamic learning experience.

Registration is now open. Students in Michigan should contact their school principal or counselor to register. School principals or counselors should contact their local ISD/RESA/REMC for more information or contact GenNETOnlineLearningSupport@geneseeisd.org.

GenNET ITV (Interactive Television) Courses

GenNET shared distance learning courses are available to high school and middle school students across Michigan using videoconferencing technology.

Seat Time Waivers

Students have the option of taking more than two online courses at a time, including a full-time online schedule. The Seat Time Waiver (STW) Program is available to students in grades 9-12.

The Genesee County Virtual Summer School Program is available to students in grades 9-12 from participating Genesee County schools. Students can take online courses any time, any place-–allowing for greater flexibility in summer plans. Registration deadline
is June 19, 2013

STW ANNUAL REPORT DUE
JUNE 15, 2013.

 
This is a reminder that the required Seat Time Waiver (STW) report for school districts and public school academies for second semester/period 2 is due to the MDE by June 15, 2013.
 
Each school district and public school academy operating under the Genesee County Seat Time Waiver must submit an individual report to MDE by the due date.
